Stock Up & Support the Friends at our ongoing Book Sale! Discover an excellent selection of gently used books featuring best selling authors, records, videos and everything you need to build up your home library. Every purchase you make goes directly to the Friends ongoing program and collection efforts for the Ripon Memorial Library. Needed: Book Sale Volunteers
The Friends are seeking volunteers that are interested in sharing their love for books by volunteering a couple hours a week at the Friends ongoing Book Sale. Students, teens and those seeking community service time are also encouraged to apply. Volunteers will sort and shelve ongoing book donations and will be responsible for maintaining a retail standard presentation. Our primary sources for funding for programs are through your donations and purchases at our book sale. The Friends Book Sale is located in the library at 333 W. Main Street, Ripon, CA. The public has access to the Book Sale during library hours. Special promotions are announced two weeks ahead of time. Prices:

In 2009, the Friends Book Sale raised nearly $5,000! Monies raised support the Friends ongoing fundraising efforts and are applied to our annual program and collection goal of $25,000! Our success depends on the continued donations to the Friends Book Sale. While we continue to accept all book donation types, we are seeking the following books to further compliment our book sale area and upcoming community book sale events:
